When you feel nostalgic…

…you eat food from your childhood-slash-home country.

Filipino style Spaghetti! Complete with cut up hotdogs, and sweet spaghetti sauce.

There were a package of ground beef in the fridge and I didn’t feel like making meatballs again. I would have made Burger Steak, Jollibee style, but we were out of mushrooms.

It turned out they way I wanted. Then again, pasta recipes are simple enough.

This dish reminds me of nights in 2008 when I lived in residence, and I did not know how to cook AT ALL. So I call for Jollibee delivery. Or birthdays when I was little, and there is always spaghetti. And the spaghetti is always sweet.

I remember one of my little cousins having Italian spaghetti for the first time and he did not like it at all. He said it tasted tangy and sour, not sweet. Not how spaghetti should have tasted like, I guess?

So yeah, I made some sweet spaghetti, and it was delicious. (I am seriously getting this cooking thing. Who knew!)

I made so much though! Enough sauce for about TWO PASTA BOXES.
